Hey! I'm Sam.

I'm the features editor at MusicTech, where I get to geek out with music producers about their craft, and talk about the latest music gear drops. I've written over 2,000 articles for MT since joining in 2019, and edited several thousand more.

Beyond MusicTech and NME, I've interviewed artists and creatives for luxury magazines (Bentley, Cloud, Tower Revue), and written guides for the audiences of audio gear brands. 

As a bedroom beatmaker of over 15 years (with a BA in creative music technology), I'm addicted to electronic music, hip-hop, and old-school disco. I'm also high-key proud of my record collection, which has been built after many hours of crate-digging. 

Recently, my time outside of work has been spent building my own personal streaming platform with a Raspberry Pi, playing old-school video games, making more music, and trying to touch grass as much as possible.
